You can collect 2 points for every £1 spent on AWC tickets when they are bought online through avantiwestcoast.com (including desktop website and mobile website).
You have to enter your Nectar card number when making your payment online to collect points. It's your responsibility to enter your Nectar card number correctly.
Yes, you will need to enter your Nectar card number every time you make a booking.
No, you must enter a Nectar card when you check out. You can order a Nectar card online here or pick it up in store at Sainsbury's, BP or Homebase.
All journeys where you travel on a AWC, whether for the whole journey or just part of it, are eligible for Nectar points. That means you'll receive Nectar points on your whole journey, even if only part of it's on a AWC.
So we'll give you Nectar points for a journey between London and St Helens, even though only part of it (between London Euston and Wigan North Western) is on a AWC. And in the same way, we'll give you Nectar points for a journey between London and Manchester, the whole of which is on a AWC.
You won't collect points on tickets where an AWC train is not booked for at least a part of that journey.
At present season tickets can't be purchased online and are therefore not eligible for Nectar points.
You cannot collect points on any item purchased from the onboard shop or First Class lounge.
If your transaction has been completed, you will receive your points within 28 days.
If you're waiting for points to be credited, you can check your Nectar points statement by logging into nectar.com.
If you still haven't received your points after 28 days, we'd be happy to investigate: contact Nectar.
